SELECTED AT THE bid_20 (BIENAL IBEROAMERICANA DE DISEÑO 2020)
Designing a dynamic object that articulates a new experience around the specialty coffee of Panama accompanied by small bites of food type pairing.
Talking about the territorial identity of our coffee growing region, since with its particular geography, different heights, rich agriculture and short distance between the two oceans allows to receive winds from the north and south creating thus micro-climates that make Panamanian coffee unique in the world.
The structure is a square footprint that breaks down and splits to generate movement and dynamism, keeping specialty coffee as the central focal point, highlighting the height and protecting it, but giving itcharacter. The other 3 terraces are levels of accompaniment and pairing to tell a story that is very own
of who proposes the ritual and help to highlight the experience.

DIVIRTIÉNDONOS CON LO COTIDIANO.
Diseñar un objeto dinámico que articule una nueva experiencia al rededor del café de especialidad de Panamá acompañado de pequeños bocados de comida tipo maridaje. Buscando hablar de la identidad territorial de nuestra región cafetaleras, ya que con sus geografía particular, diferentes alturas, rica agricultura y corta distancia entre los dos océanos permite recibir vientos del norte y del sur creando así micro-climas que hacen al café panameño único en el mundo. La estructura es una huella cuadrada que se descompone y se fracciona para generar movimiento y dinamismo, manteniendo como punto focal central el café de especialidad, resaltando la altura y protegiéndolo, pero dándole carácter. Las otras 3 terrazas son niveles de acompañamiento y maridaje para contar una historia que sea muy propia de quien propone el ritual y ayuden a resaltar la experiencia.

DIVERTIRSI CON IL QUOTIDIANO.
Progettare un oggetto dinamico che articola una nuova esperienza attorno al caffè di specialità di Panama accompagnato da piccoli stuzzichini.
Cercando di parlare dell'identità territoriale della nostra regione di coltivazione del caffè, poiché con la sua geografia particolare, diversa altezze, ricca agricoltura e breve distanza tra i due oceani permette di ricevere venti da nord e da sud creando quindi microclimi che rendono il caffè panamense unico al mondo.
La struttura è un'impronta quadrata che si scompone e si sdoppia per generare movimento e dinamismo, mantenendo il caffè di specialità quale punto focale centrale, evidenziandone l'altezza e proteggendola, ma donandole carattere. Le altre 3 terrazze sono livelli di accompagnamento per raccontare una storia molto personale di chi propone il rito e aiuta a mettere in risalto l'esperienza.
